Aaron Winner has been a worship leader at several different churches within the Church of God General Conference since he was 15 and first felt God giving him this calling.  At 15, he lead worship for his youth group at Guthrie Grove Church of God and was a member of a local Christian Rock band "Day of Atonement."

After high school he moved to Morrow, GA to attend Atlanta Bible College, to pursue pastoral ministry.  He left after the Spring '04 semester and later that year moved to Wyoming, MI to be part of Southlawn Church of God worship team and help ministries there.

During his time there he felt God calling him to write worship music.  The first worship song he wrote was "Behold the Lamb of God," which has become popular in contemporary worship throughout the Church of God.  He knew his purpose was to write music declaring who God is and what he has done for us, an undeserving people.

In January of '06 Aaron married the love of his life, Jennifer Shaull, whom he began dating at Atlanta Bible College.  He moved to Louisiana and began attending Blood River Church of God and helping with worship leading.  He was inspired as he read through the Psalms about the idea of constantly having a new song to sing, a new way to praise God, in the midst of even the troubled times.  He began writing worship songs more frequently and given a purpose to fulfill.  Also, after having a theme of sermons, lessons, and bible readings, about worship being about the one being worshiped, God, and not about the worshiper, Aaron felt that his album "One by One" should only be the glory of God, his worship, through praise and action.
